Eighty hopeful faces, a culmination of years of dedication. Here at ICR-São Tomás de Aquino, a ripple of excitement marked the eighth graduation ceremony. Eighty students, sixty-three from the Faculty of Moral and Religious Teacher Training and seventeen from the Faculty of Social Services, stood on the cusp of a new chapter. Father Crisostomo I. Salar Jr. addressed the graduates, acknowledging the challenges faced during the pandemic. He commended their resilience and perseverance. ICR-São Tomás de Aquino recognized their abilities and capacity. Their achievements became a benchmark for the institute. The ceremony took place in the Villa-verde Cathedral hall. The graduating class, with degrees ranging from bachelor’s to licentiates, marked not only the culmination of their hard work but also the dedication of the institute. The graduation was a stepping stone for these students to reintegrate into the community. They were encouraged to continue learning and become citizens filled with capacity, knowledge, and skills. ICR-São Tomás de Aquino would take pride in seeing its graduates become influential figures within the community. One graduate, Ana de Fátima, from the Faculty of Moral and Religious Teacher Training, shared her perspective. ICR-São Tomás de Aquino became a second home. It had equipped them with religious and moral knowledge to develop human life. ICR-São Tomás de Aquino made them partners with God. Ana de Fátima highlighted the dynamic nature of the institute, where education thrived because it educated living individuals, individuals created in God’s image. ICR-São Tomás de Aquino provided a strong learning platform, reinforcing religion and morals as the foundation of the learning process. The graduates pledged to uphold the reputation of ICR-São Tomás de Aquino within society. The ceremony ended on a high note, filled with hope and promise.
