Completed in 2022 One World . . . Under Michigan Stars is constructed from glass and steel. It weighs a staggering 16000 pounds. The sculpture’s diameter spans 25 feet.

J.J. Tighe the director of parks and trails sees great significance in One World . . . Under Michigan Stars. Tighe believes it will welcome visitors to Belle Isle. It will also serve as a beautiful addition to this special place. He imagines adventures beginning here on the Iron Belle Trail.

The Nordin Brothers also created The Path of Life. This sculpture incorporates artifacts from the Joe Louis Arena. It captures the memory of the arena. It echoes Detroit’s current renaissance.
