Recall the year 2017. That’s when the new Kirche Hasloh found its home at Kronkamp. It is more than just a building. It’s a place of community.

The Ev Luth Kirchengemeinde Quickborn Hasloh oversees this church. The main office is in Quickborn. You can reach them by phone or email. The church’s friendly staff is ready to assist you. Petra Ronsieck and Carola Rietdorf are available to help. They are there Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Also on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

Many activities occur within the Kirche Hasloh. Every first Monday brings the Café der Nationen. It starts at 5 pm. Tuesdays buzz with activity all day. There are activities for parents, babies and toddlers. There is also time for the teenagers with Confirmation classes. The Gospel choir meets every other Tuesday evening. The last Tuesday of each month hosts a Bible study group.

Wednesday afternoons are for the seniors. They meet for fellowship. Thursday afternoons are busy too. The Pfadfinders meet. That’s the local scout troop. There is also a children’s group. Sundays bring the most important event: the worship service. It usually starts at 10 am. On the first Sunday of the month, it is at 5 pm.

The Kirche Hasloh wasn’t always here. A design competition took place in 2015. Five architectural firms submitted designs for the new church center. The winner was MMST UG. Stefan Scholz’s firm won. To fund this new building, the church council sold some land. They sold it to Rohweder. That’s a company from Hohenwestedt. The Gemeindebrief kept everyone updated.

An architectural contract was signed with Mr. Scholz. The church council made all necessary decisions. The new Kirche Hasloh opened in 2017. This modern space continues a long tradition of faith. It serves as a beacon. It is a testament to Hasloh’s strong community spirit.
