This renewal tackles many problems. These include traffic congestion and a lack of public space. It also addresses the area’s messy image. Designers listened to residents and commuters. They then reshaped Datansha. They created a space for everyone.
The Datansha project focused on connections. It reconstructed the area in a warm way. It created new activity spaces. The aim was to strengthen the city’s vitality. This integrated people, spaces, and traffic.
Traffic was a major problem. Vehicles often blocked roads. The redesign added parking spaces and better vehicle management. Green belts and railings now guide pedestrians. The metro square buzzes with life. “Street vending” has returned. Vendors run their businesses. Pedestrians can rest and eat. Motor scooter drivers wait for passengers.
The eastern street square continues Datansha’s island shape. It uses water elements. Paving, benches, and walls create an interesting rest place. The “water wave” design echoes the Pearl River. It touches the hearts of those connected to Datansha.
Thanks to these efforts Datansha Gateway has transformed. Illegal buildings were removed. Roads expanded from four lanes to eight. Clean roads offer a safe environment. The scenery is now beautiful and colorful. Datansha now offers a unique lifestyle.
