“Nearly 300 billion”, that sounds like a lot of money, doesn’t it? We are standing near Cầu vượt đường sắt Nguyễn Trác. It is a bridge under construction in Hanoi.

Cầu vượt đường sắt Nguyễn Trác is more than just concrete and steel. It embodies Hanoi’s ambition to modernize its infrastructure. This bridge aims to ease traffic and improve connectivity. It reflects the city’s commitment to progress.

Approved in June 2023, the project is officially known as the bridge over the intersection of Provincial Road 427. It crosses the North-South railway and National Highway 1A. Some also call it Cầu vượt Dương Trực Nguyên. The goal is to create a seamless intersection with National Highway 1A and the North-South railway. The bridge will complete the new route of Road 427, which will connect to the Pháp Vân – Cầu Giẽ highway. This ensures smoother and safer traffic flow.

Imagine the completed structure. It stretches 590 meters long. The bridge itself spans 284 meters. Retaining walls and access roads make up the rest. The cross-section is 16 meters wide, accommodating four lanes of traffic. The access roads are designed to meet the standards of Provincial Road 427.

The total investment is significant. It costs 283 billion đồng. Construction accounts for over 228 billion đồng of the total. The remaining funds cover other expenses. The project is funded from the budget of Thường Tín district. Construction began in May 2024. According to the contract, the project should take 335 days to complete. The estimated completion date is in 2025.

Once finished, Cầu vượt đường sắt Nguyễn Trác will maximize the effectiveness of other projects. These include upgrades to Provincial Road 427 and expansion of National Highway 1A. Together, they will form a complete transportation network. This will boost socio-economic development and improve lives.

Cầu vượt đường sắt Nguyễn Trác will facilitate trade for many businesses operating in the area. These companies produce various products in 11 industrial clusters and numerous craft villages in the district.

As we stand here, envision the future impact of Cầu vượt đường sắt Nguyễn Trác. Hanoi continues to build and connect. Each bridge represents a step forward.
