“Lost in Batam’s vibrant tapestry, did Pak Cik ever wonder about those silent sentinels, the mosques?” Masjid Darussalam Mk-1 Rw.04 whispers stories of faith and community. Masjid Darussalam Mk-1 Rw.04 stands proudly in Kampung Jabi, a testament to Batam’s devotion. Constructed in 2017, this public mosque serves as a beacon of hope. It embraces a community of 100 to 150 worshippers. The mosque’s architecture is a modern interpretation of traditional Indonesian design. Its minaret reaches towards the heavens, a call to prayer echoing through the neighborhood. The main prayer hall, adorned with intricate calligraphy, provides a serene space for reflection. Masjid Darussalam Mk-1 Rw.04 isn’t merely a place of worship. It’s the heart of Kampung Jabi. It’s a place where families gather, friendships blossom, and the community unites. The mosque’s land stretches across 250 square meters, while the building itself occupies 300 square meters. This land, secured by a SHM (Hak Milik) certificate, signifies the mosque’s permanent place in the community. The mosque boasts a dedicated muazin and a khotib, who lead the prayers and deliver sermons, respectively. A group of eight youths actively participates in the mosque’s activities. They represent the future of Masjid Darussalam Mk-1 Rw.04, ensuring its vibrancy for generations to come.
