You’ll also find the resting place of Siegfried Körner, former mayor of Oedeme and owner of Körner Stahltore. The stadium of SV Eintracht Lüneburg is named in his honor. Another notable figure buried here is Joachim Dahms, owner of the Lüneburg Drahtwarenfabrik and long-time president of VfL Lüneburg.
