Osaka Municipal Higashinakagawa Elementary School is in Osaka. It is a public elementary school in Ikuno Ward. The school’s history began in 1939. It separated from Osaka Municipal Koderaguchi Elementary School. The current Osaka Municipal Koderaguchi Elementary School is its predecessor.

In April 1939 Osaka Municipal Higashinakagawa Ordinary Elementary School opened. In 1941 it was renamed Osaka Municipal Higashinakagawa National School. This change happened due to the National School Order.

During World War II, in 1944 students evacuated. They went to Hiragaki Village in Nara Prefecture. Hiragaki is now Hiragaki Town.

After the war in 1947 the school was renamed again. It became Osaka Municipal Higashinakagawa Elementary School. This name came with educational reforms. The school established its school song in 1959. A swimming pool was completed in 1963. A lecture hall and gymnasium were completed in 1985.

The school’s location is in Shin Imasato, Ikuno Ward. It is at 7-14-37. The phone number is 06-6752-2865. The fax number is 06-6751-8675.
