Army Public School NOIDA began its journey on February 17 1995. The foundation stone was laid by Gen Shankar Roy Chowdhury. He was the Chief of the Army Staff. Late Gen BC Joshi envisioned an ideal educational institution. It would be for children of Army personnel. This vision was realized through a chain of APSs across the country. APSN was the second school established in Delhi-NCR.
Let’s step back to September 1 1995. Army Public School NOIDA started with classes V-VIII. There were 59 students and 8 teachers. They occupied 4 classrooms in the Primary Wing. Today the school has over 1400 students and 60 faculty members.

Army Public School NOIDA functions under the AWES. It technically falls under 2 Corps Western Command. The GOC 40 Arty Division supports the school’s management. Cdr 261 Arty Brigade is the Chairman. The current Principal is Mrs. Jyoti Rana.
