Finally in 1966 it was restructured into the Dahongmen Subdistrict we see today.

Today Dahongmen Subdistrict is home to 177946 people according to the 2020 census. It covers 96 square kilometers. That’s a lot of people packed into this historical area. Think of the stories held within those walls. The lives intertwined within this bustling community.
