Is it possible for a church to shape the mindsets of nations? Right here stands Bethel International Church. It is more than just a place of worship. It’s a movement. It seeks to bring global revival.

Bethel International Church started as a church plant of Bethel Redding. They launched on September 24, 2023. Services are held at Central Baptist Church. The address is 166 W 92nd Street New York. Services begin at 5:00 pm every Sunday.

Bethel New York wants to host God’s glory. They want to provide a sanctuary. Here God can meet humanity. The church wants to build a community. This community will see transformation in themselves and others.

The church believes in miracles. They believe in signs and wonders. They believe God desires to walk with all people. This walk is intimate and supernatural.

Bethel International Church desires that all individuals come fully alive. This applies to every walk of life. People should know God’s goodness. They should awaken to their God-given destiny. People can partner with Him to bring heaven to earth. The church’s heart burns for revival and reformation.

Bethel wants to move slowly enough to see the “one”. This means the forgotten the broken and the lost. They are moved by compassion and generosity. They meet the needs of those around them practically and with power.

Bethel International Church believes in the power of prayer. They acknowledge their need for it. They protect family and build legacy. They preach the uncompromising Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Bethel recognizes that apostolic cities shape the mindsets of nations. New York City is one such city. God designed it to influence global mindsets. It molds cultural values. Bethel has felt led to cover this city in prayer and ministry for over a decade.

Joel and Sarah Power felt called by God to plant a church in New York City. The Bethel Senior Leadership Team sent them to establish an apostolic center. This center equips a community of believers for revival. It is right in the center of this great city.

Bethel believes this team will have a massive impact on the nations. This impact will be seen over the next 50 years. They will partner together. They will awaken the world to the love and power of Christ. They will show the superior benefits of the kingdom of God.

Joel and Sarah Power have three children Justice Honey and Poppy. They have been part of Bethel Church in Redding California for over seven years. In 2015 they moved from Brisbane Australia feeling God’s call to make Bethel their home.

Joel served as a Pastor in Bethel’s School of Supernatural Ministry BSSM. He also served in the Bethel Leaders Network BLN. Joel is a visionary. He has a passion to build connect and champion leaders. He wants to help them fulfill their God-given purpose.

Sarah is passionate about prayer. She values intimacy with God. She is led by the Holy Spirit. She stewards the prophetic promises that God has given. She feels called to see revival and reformation. This revival and reformation will be in the cities God has called their family to.

Rebecca Couper and Beth Regattieri also joined Joel and Sarah. They will help begin the foundational work of building Bethel New York.

Rebecca Couper was a manager and pastor for BSSM. She is an integral part of this team. She moved to New York to help plant this new church. She serves as the Associate Leader.

Beth Regattieri serves Bethel New York in operations and marketing. She remains the Bethel College Marketing Director. She works from New York to help build the college’s East Coast presence.
