Here stands Grace Community Baptist Church of Houston a beacon of faith. It’s a place where people grow together. It is a community of belonging and impact.

Grace Church began with just twelve people. They met at Clear Lake Intermediate School in Houston in 1983. Pastor Steve Riggle led this initial church-planting mission. Grace International Churches and Ministries, Inc sent him. The church quickly grew.

Late in 1983, the church relocated to Webster. They moved into an existing church building. By then, the congregation had grown to 98 people. In 1984, they moved again. This time, they went to League City. The congregation had grown to 400 members.

By 1988, the League City location was full. Even with three services, they needed more space. Services then moved to Clear Brook High School in Friendswood. In 1990, Grace Church relocated to a new facility. It was in Clear Lake City.

The church experienced further growth. In 2004, Grace Church moved to the South Campus. This new facility covered 86 acres next to the Gulf Freeway. In 2006, they broke ground for a North Campus. This was in The Woodlands.

The South Campus interim worship center held 1900 seats. It reached capacity during the late service in 2006. A new South Campus worship center was dedicated in 2006. It could hold 8000 people with full seating.

Garrett and Andrea Booth became the pastors of Grace Houston in 2014. They had served Grace for 20 years. Steve and Becky Riggle became founding pastors. They also pastored Grace Woodlands. They continued leading Grace International.

Today, Grace Church Houston is led by Senior Pastors Garrett and Andrea Booth. Lead Pastors Dan and Rachel Hunter also serve. David and Diana Scarpeta lead Grace Español.

Garrett Booth has served in full-time ministry for over 25 years. He communicates God’s Word in a relevant way. He authored “Today and Tomorrow: Embracing God’s Plan for Your Future.” He consults and trains leaders. He serves on several boards.

Dan and Rachel Hunter have been married and in ministry for over 30 years. They focus on youth, families, marriages, and church planting. Dan coaches leaders and athletes. He encourages them to maximize their kingdom impact.

David and Diana Scarpeta moved from Colombia with their four children. David shares the gospel with passion. He also travels worldwide speaking at conferences and events.

Grace Church Houston holds three services on Sunday. Two are in English. One is in Spanish. The church embraces a clear set of beliefs. They believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God. They believe in the triune God. They believe in Jesus Christ.

Grace Church’s vision is to be consumed by the mission of God. Their strategy involves helping people grow together in their faith. They value community and making a difference.
