In August 2020, Ch\u00f9a L\u1ed9c D\u00e3 offered critical support. It provided gifts to households struggling due to Covid-19. Under the guidance of Th\u01b0\u1ee3ng t\u1ecda Th\u00edch Tr\u00ed Tr\u01b0\u1eddng, the temple distributed 300 care packages. These went to wards 9, 7, 16 and Tan Thuan Tay area in District 7. Each package contained 10 kg of rice, cooking oil and soy sauce. Sugar was also included. Each was worth 250,000 VND.
Th\u01b0\u1ee3ng t\u1ecda Th\u00edch Tr\u00ed Tr\u01b0\u1eddng ensured direct aid. He personally delivered these gifts. From August 19th to 22nd he transported 50 gifts daily. The total value of this charitable effort reached 80 million VND.

Led by Th\u01b0\u1ee3ng t\u1ecda Th\u00edch Tr\u00ed Tr\u01b0\u1eddng, they offered incense. They paid respects to the Three Jewels. They inquired about the monks’ health. Representatives from the monasteries expressed gratitude. They thanked Ch\u00f9a L\u1ed9c D\u00e3’s Abbot and monks. They also wished the followers well.
