Hidden in the Santo Tirso landscape lies the Igreja Antiga de S.Mamede de Negrelos. This ancient church holds centuries of stories within its walls. The Igreja Antiga de S.Mamede de Negrelos witnessed births, marriages, and deaths, all meticulously recorded in its parish registers from 1593 to 1911. These records, now housed in the Arquivo Distrital do Porto, offer a glimpse into the lives of those who came before us. Even its diocese changed, moving from Braga to Porto in 1882.
