Established in 2004, Xã Lạc An has a story to tell. It’s a story woven into the fabric of Bình Dương Province, a tale of growth and change. Xã Lạc An wasn’t always what you see today. Originally part of Tân Uyên district, it underwent a transformation. In 2004, a portion of Tân Mỹ commune, along with its residents, became part of Xã Lạc An. That same year, a part of Xã Lạc An was carved out to create Hiếu Liêm commune. This reshaping left Xã Lạc An with its current size of 35.09 square kilometers. Today, as you stand here, Xã Lạc An is a thriving commune within Bắc Tân Uyên district. It’s home to over 11,500 people. They live across four distinct neighborhoods and the Giáp Lạc hamlet. Xã Lạc An is more than just statistics and boundaries. It’s a place where people are actively supported in developing their livelihoods. From raising water buffalo and livestock to establishing orchards and businesses, the community strives for economic growth. Xã Lạc An is dedicated to reducing poverty and improving the lives of its people. They have made significant strides in achieving these goals. Their commitment to community development is evident in their efforts. Xã Lạc An continues to grow and evolve, playing its part in the larger story of Bình Dương Province.
