Mass times at Our Lady & St Joseph vary. On Mondays through Saturdays, mass is at 09:30. Saturday Vigil is at 18:00. On Sundays, mass is at 09:30 and 11:00. Confessions are heard on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. They are usually around 6.15 pm.

The parish of Our Lady and St. George was founded in 1949. The foundation stone of the new church was laid on May 8th, 1958. Archbishop Campbell officiated the ceremony.
The new church officially opened on December 14th, 1959. Despite atrocious fog, a great number of priests and people were present. Bishop Black of Paisley and Bishop Hart of Dunkeld attended. Archbishop Campbell was piped from his car by St. Francis’ Pipe Band. Scouts and Cubs provided a guard of honor.
