Rev Ralph Read served as the first pastor. Rev Donald Striker followed then Rev Arthur Wells whose leadership saw significant growth. Rev Irvine Alafia Bryer Jr became the first African American pastor. His tenure brought a focus on education employment and fighting racial discrimination.
