Located in Parque Morelos, this four-level building houses a 3D theater, auditorium, and various exhibition rooms. The museum’s philosophy centers around free and meaningful learning. Museo El Trompo hosted the BajaBot 2023 robotics competition, a testament to its commitment to technology and innovation. It also featured the captivating temporary exhibition, “Dinosaurs Among Us,” from the American Museum of Natural History in New York. This exhibit showcased the evolutionary link between modern birds and their extinct dinosaur ancestors. In 2024, Museo El Trompo played a key role in the World Design Capital Tijuana-San Diego event. It served as a hub for design, creativity, and learning, showcasing the region’s vibrant cultural scene. Museo El Trompo continues to inspire and educate.
