Founded in 1953 the Church of Pentecost stands as a testament to faith. It began as the Gold Coast Apostolic Church. The name changed to Ghana Apostolic Church after Ghana’s independence. A conflict led to a new name. President Kwame Nkrumah suggested the name Church of Pentecost in 1962. This fostered peace.
