Art Dubai is a crucial platform for artists from the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. It transforms Dubai into a global hub of artistic expression each March. Art Dubai welcomes a diverse array of over 90 galleries from more than 40 countries. Imagine exploring a world of contemporary masterpieces, modern marvels, and cutting-edge digital creations. Art Dubai’s four main sections, Contemporary, Modern, Bawwaba, and Digital, offer a rich tapestry of artistic exploration. In 2024, Art Dubai presented a captivating showcase at Madinat Jumeirah. Visitors could experience everything from installations and sculptures to paintings and video art. Tickets were priced at AED 60 for a one-day pass and AED 100 for a three-day pass, making art accessible to all. Beyond the galleries, Art Dubai offers a vibrant program of events. This includes artist commissions, performances, talks, workshops, and educational programs. The Global Art Forum, held annually at Art Dubai, is the largest arts conference in the Middle East and Asia. It’s a space where thought leaders and artists engage in dynamic discussions. Art Dubai’s educational initiatives extend from children’s programs to postgraduate opportunities. Campus Art Dubai, a community art school, nurtures local talent. The Forum Fellows program supports young curators and writers. Art Dubai even offers internship and volunteer programs. In 2015, Art Dubai, along with Design Days Dubai, made a significant economic impact. They contributed a substantial US$35 million to Dubai’s local economy during Art Week.
