Bukgajwa-dong has a tangible cultural heritage. Seoul Metropolitan City Tangible Cultural Heritage Number 41 is here. It is the Hwasangunsindobi. This is Prince Hwasangun’s tomb monument.
Bukgajwa-dong is divided into two parts. These are Bukgajwa 1-dong and Bukgajwa 2-dong. In 2020, Bukgajwa 1-dong had 18,557 residents. Bukgajwa 2-dong had 32,947 people. The total area of Bukgajwa-dong is 1.39 square kilometers.
Several schools are located in Bukgajwa-dong. There is Seoul Bukgajwa Elementary School. Also present is Seoul Gajaeul Elementary School. Gajaeul Middle School and Gajaeul High School are here too.
Bukgajwa 2-dong has a bus stop. It connects to different areas of central Seoul. Subway lines do not directly serve Bukgajwa-dong. You can reach it via Digital Media City Station. Also Jeungsan Station which is on Seoul Subway Line 6, is nearby.
