However, the project faced further delays due to national economic struggles and the war. Despite these challenges, the Chiesa della Beata Vergine Maria Immacolata persevered. The first mass was held in the still unfinished church in 1938. It was finally consecrated in 1941. The church withstood the trials of World War II. Even bomb damage could not diminish its spirit. The Chiesa della Beata Vergine Maria Immacolata continued to flourish after the war. It stands today as a testament to the enduring power of faith and community in the face of adversity.
