Rescued from Burmese invaders a magnificent Buddha statue now resides in Wat San Sai Mun. This serene temple in Chiang Mai’s San Sai District holds a rich history. Originally named Wat Aranbarnpa it was renamed Wat San Sai Mun in 1907. This reflects its location near the Saimoon swamp. The temple’s founding dates back to 1487.
