Imagine standing on Minjerribah. This is North Stradbroke Island. Naree Budjong Djara National Park unfolds around you. It is the largest of Moreton Bay’s islands. There is a wooden viewing platform at the lake. It is encircled by a forest of paperbarks. Eucalypts and banksias add to the serene setting. You can cool off in the water here. But be aware of the spooky unseen depths.
