“Pfarrsaal Moorenbrunn” rings through my mind. It is where voices blend in harmony. Here stands Mutter vom Guten Rat. This church is more than just a building. It is a focal point of faith and community.
Mutter vom Guten Rat opens its doors for regular services. In even months, Mass is held each Saturday at 6 PM. During odd months, services take place on Sundays at 9:30 AM. These services provide a constant for the faithful.
The Kita Mutter vom Guten Rat Moorenbrunn is nearby. It complements family life. The Kita is a partner in the children’s upbringing. They focus on the needs and ages of the children. The children explore and learn with joy. The Kita has a semi-open layout. Each child belongs to a group. They can use the whole building and garden. This encourages independence.
The church choir adds to the spiritual atmosphere. Founded in 1978, the choir has been singing ever since. Every Tuesday at 8 PM, the choir practices. They meet in the Pfarrsaal Moorenbrunn. They are always welcoming to new members. The choir enhances services. They performed at Christmette on December 24, 2024. The Schola sang at the Christmas Vespers on December 25. The choir also performed at the Fischbach Cemetery for Allerheiligen.
The choir faced a challenge. During a service, the conductor tested positive for Corona. Martin Quitterer stepped in to lead. The performance was a success. Such surprises are not wished for.
The choir sings a varied repertoire. It includes modern songs. They rehearse diligently. They prepare for Easter, Fronleichnam, and Pfingsten. New songs are introduced. One such song is “Herr deine Güte reicht so weit”.
Mutter vom Guten Rat has a vibrant community. The services provide spiritual guidance. The Kita supports families. The choir fills the church with beautiful music. It is a place of faith, community, and harmony.
