Sadly, they are slated for renovations starting in the spring semester, leaving residents like Logan Mooty and Riccardo Orlandi in a state of limbo. They, along with many others, face the uncertainty of relocation. While the university has asked for housing preferences, concrete information about their new accommodations remains elusive. This lack of clarity adds another layer of stress to their already demanding academic lives. Despite the uncertainty, Mooty and Orlandi remain pragmatic. They haven’t given up on finding off-campus housing, but they’re also open to waiting until the fall semester for a smoother transition. Their story reflects the experiences of many Oceans Hall residents grappling with the upheaval of renovations.
