A near-fatal motorcycle accident in 1978 changed Lennell D Caldwell’s life forever. Here at World Changer’s International Ministries the story of his transformation unfolds. This is where a life of sin gave way to a powerful ministry.
World Changer’s International Ministries wasn’t always here. It began as First Baptist Church. Founded in 1920 it had humble beginnings with twelve families in Roseville. The church moved to its current location on West Eight Mile Road in Detroit. It grew and changed over time.
Under Pastor Caldwell’s leadership starting in 1993 the church experienced a spiritual rebirth. He brought a new vision. The name changed to First Baptist World Changers International Ministries in 2000. This reflected its expanding global outreach. Pastor Caldwell’s unique experiences with drugs and street life helped him connect with a wide range of people. His message of salvation resonated deeply. He took his message to prisons hospitals and the homeless.
His wife Carol Caldwell is an equally important part of the ministry. She serves as Church Administrator and Teacher. She too is a powerful preacher sharing the word of God. Together they have built a thriving ministry. They focus on holiness and helping families.
The church’s mission is clear: to make a lasting impact on lives. This is a place where burdens are lifted and lives are transformed. The powerful message of hope and redemption permeates these walls. It resonates through the lives touched by this ministry.
This isn’t just a building it’s a testament to faith resilience and unwavering dedication. World Changer’s International Ministries stands as a beacon of hope in Detroit. It is a living example of the transformative power of faith. The legacy continues to grow.
