“A male-only high school?” you ask. That’s right! Koyo Gakuin High School stands before us. It is a place with a rich history and a commitment to fostering future leaders.

Koyo Gakuin High School was founded in 1917. Komakichiro Iga established it as a middle school. He received support from the Tatsu-uma family. They owned the Hakushika brand of Japanese Refined Sake since 1920. The Scholarship Society of Tatsu-uma Institution now administers the school. It was reorganized in 1948. This reorganization created junior and senior high schools.

Many Koyo Gakuin alumni have achieved great success. They have excelled in business, medicine, and academia. Consider Nobutada Saji. He is the CEO of Suntory Ltd. Kazuhiko Nishi founded ASCII Corporation. Hidesaburou Hanafusa became Professor Emeritus at Rockefeller University. Even Kaoru Betto, a baseball player, walked these halls.

Koyo Gakuin is known for its academic excellence. It ranks high among Japanese schools. Hensachi measures academic ability using adjusted standard deviation scores. Koyo Gakuin consistently scores well.

The Koyo Gakuin High School Physics Club is one of the school’s four science clubs. Members explore their interests from rockets to relativity. The club encourages hands-on learning. They present their work at an event called “Art and Exhibition.” This event showcases their activities.

Imagine the energy of the students here. They are dedicated to science and learning. They are the future innovators of Japan.

Koyo Gakuin High School is more than just a school. It is a place where young men grow. They develop into leaders. They are supported by tradition and a commitment to excellence. This is a place where dreams take flight.
