In June 2020, it was officially renamed Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station.

The north side’s glass curtain wall offers ample daylight. It also points towards Shenyang, the line’s other end. The upper roof’s design draws inspiration from the Forbidden City’s ancient roofs.
Inside Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station, you will find a streamlined design. It efficiently manages passenger flow. There are three main levels. The elevated level on 2F houses offices, equipment rooms, and platforms. The 1F entrance level includes the ticket hall and boarding platforms. The -1 F exit level provides access to public transportation transfers.
Getting around Beijing from Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station is easy. A subway station, part of Beijing Subway Line 3, opened in December 2024. The station also connects to several bus routes. Taxis are readily available. The taxi waiting area is on the B1 level.
