These included haniwa pottery, swords, and horse equipment. These items tell us much about the person buried here. They were likely someone of importance.

\u8056\u5929\u5c71\u53e4\u58b3 is also called \u8056\u5929\u5c71. This small hill is considered one of Osaka’s five low mountains. The peak is only 14 meters high.

Interestingly, the temple on the mountain is called Shotenzan. Locals affectionately call it “Shoten-san”. In 1723, a priest from Kyoto carved an image of歓喜天. He made it the temple’s main deity. This shows the deep faith associated with this site.

The surrounding park adds another layer to the story of \u8056\u5929\u5c71\u53e4\u58b3. This used to be the site of Yoshida Kaneyoshi’s hermitage. He was a poet and writer from the Northern and Southern Courts era. He lived a simple life here.
