Rising majestically near Tiergarten the HGHI Tower stands tall. This eight-story office building is a modern marvel. It boasts a gross floor area of 4762.90 square meters. A significant portion is dedicated to office space totaling 1574 square meters. Completed in June 2020 the HGHI Tower is more than just an office building. It’s a symbol of Berlin’s thriving business scene. Located at Bachstrasse 12 in the Hansaviertel district it offers a prime location. The building is owned by HGHI Holding GmbH. Its investor is Harald Huth. The HGHI Tower’s impressive design provides a stunning view of Tiergarten. This offers employees a unique work-life balance. The building’s modern architecture blends seamlessly with its green surroundings. It is a testament to contemporary design.

However the HGHI Tower’s story isn’t without a touch of controversy. Construction unfortunately obscured a mural. This mural titled Weltbaum I was painted by artist Ben Wagin. It adorned the Brandmauer of Siegmunds Hof 21. The building’s construction resulted in the mural’s concealment. Mr Huth the investor offered a solution. He proposed repainting the mural at Tegel Quartier or near Friedrichstrasse station. Ultimately the mural was recreated in 2018 during the Berlin Mural Fest in Moabit. This new location ensured the art’s survival. It remains a testament to the artistic spirit.

The HGHI Tower isn’t merely a structure of steel and glass. It is a place of innovation and enterprise. It’s a space where ambition thrives. It exemplifies Berlin’s ability to balance modern development with its rich history and artistic heritage. It showcases the city’s constant evolution. The HGHI Tower is a prime example of Berlin’s ability to successfully combine the old with the new. It’s a symbol of Berlin’s dynamism and resilience. Take a moment to appreciate this architectural gem. The HGHI Tower stands as a reminder of Berlin’s modern and artistic soul.
