Inside Our Redeemer Lutheran Church everyone is important. Children are especially welcome. The church recognizes their need to be children. Their joyful presence is not just tolerated. It is embraced.
People come to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church to experience God’s love. There is no dress code. Some wear suits. Others come in shorts and flip-flops. God cares more about your heart than your attire.
Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is a safe place. Here, you can ask questions and learn about God’s plan. The church offers two Sunday worship services. The traditional service starts at 8:30 a.m. A contemporary service follows at 11:00 a.m.
The Lord’s Supper is celebrated each week in both services. Bulletins guide you through the order of worship. Screens also help you follow along. A Bible class is available between services. Another class meets on Thursday mornings.
Our Redeemer Lutheran Church offers more than just worship. Adult Bible classes occur Fall through Spring. They meet Sundays at 9:30 a.m. and Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. Special classes for men, women, and couples are held periodically.
Many small groups thrive within Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. These include adult and bell choirs. There is also a caregivers group. The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League meets here. You will also find Lutherans for Life and Lutheran Singles. Our Redeemer Lutheran Church also hosts the local condo association. Additionally, it is home to Good Shepherd of the Valley Church. This is an Arabic Christian ministry.
The Human Care Ministry is a major outreach program of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. It serves the homeless and needy in the community. The ministry distributes food. They provide hot meals. Showers, haircuts, clothing, and hygiene items are offered. This is an all-volunteer ministry. Over 1000 hours per month are given. Both church members and community members participate.
Our Redeemer Lutheran Church hosts special events throughout the year. These include neighborhood Christmas caroling. Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets are prepared for the needy. The “Angel Tree” Christmas gift program serves children. There is also a Fall Family Festival. A Community Easter Egg Hunt is held.
