The most striking feature is the 30-foot image of Sto. Niño de Cebu. It sits atop the roof. This statue is made of fiberglass resin. It faces the Mactan Channel. It directs its gaze toward Nuestra Señora de Regla of Lapu-Lapu City. This placement is said to allow the Son to pay homage to the Mother.
The feast of Sto. Niño de Cebu occurs every January. The Santo Niño Chapel holds a mass every Sunday. It is from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. Louie Ferrer, chair of Cebu2World, considers the Santo Niño Chapel a landmark. It unites Cebuanos. It also symbolizes the modernization of Carbon Public Market. The chapel is inspired by the Sto.
