C\u1ea7u Ki\u1ebfn H\u01b0ng is close to a place with a rich history. This is the commune of Ki\u1ebfn H\u01b0ng. It includes the villages of M\u1eadu L\u01b0\u01a1ng and \u0110a S\u1ef9. These villages are part of Vietnam’s ancient culture. They have a tradition of history and culture.
M\u1eadu L\u01b0\u01a1ng has a special temple. People call it the M\u1eadu L\u01b0\u01a1ng temple. It honors three important figures. These are Ch\u00e0ng V\u00e0ng \u0110\u1ea1i V\u01b0\u01a1ng, \u0110\u00f4 H\u1ed3 \u0110\u1ea1i V\u01b0\u01a1ng and L\u00ea tri\u1ec1u Linh hi\u1ec3n Ho\u00e0ng h\u1eadu. Legend says the first two were Ti\u00ean \u0111\u1ed3ng. They were born into a family in Hoan Ch\u00e2u.
These brothers traveled and eventually met S\u01a1n Th\u00e1nh. He recognized their talent. At that time the country was peaceful. S\u01a1n Th\u00e1nh and the two brothers traveled together. Returning to M\u1eadu L\u01b0\u01a1ng, they decided to stay. They cared for the local people. They taught them farming and silkworm breeding.
When the Th\u1ee5c army invaded, the brothers helped King H\u00f9ng fight. After winning, they returned to their village. Later, they ascended to the heavens with S\u01a1n Th\u00e1nh. The villagers built a temple to honor them. The king named them “Th\u01b0\u1ee3ng \u0111\u1eb3ng ph\u00fac th\u1ea7n.” Later dynasties also honored them.
The M\u1eadu L\u01b0\u01a1ng temple is a national historical site. It received this recognition in 1988. Inside, there are precious items. These include ceremonial palanquins, desks and thrones. There are also horizontal lacquered boards and parallel sentences. These items showcase the art of the L\u00ea dynasty.
The temple has several sections. There is the Nghi m\u00f4n gate, T\u1ea3 H\u1eefu m\u1ea1c, \u0110\u1ea1i b\u00e1i and H\u1eadu cung. The temple gate features two high pillars. These are over 8 meters tall. The \u0110\u1ea1i b\u00e1i has three compartments with curved roofs.

Every year on the 25th day of the second lunar month M\u1eadu L\u01b0\u01a1ng holds a festival. They celebrate the birthday of the two honored gods. They bring the gods’ tablets in a procession from the M\u1eadu L\u01b0\u01a1ng communal house to the M\u1eadu L\u01b0\u01a1ng temple. Also, people organize a ceremony to honor the village gods. They believe it brings peace and happiness to the community.
Today Ki\u1ebfn H\u01b0ng ward has an area of 4.24 square kilometers. In 2009, its population was 11,390 people. The population density is 2,685 people per square kilometer. C\u1ea7u Ki\u1ebfn H\u01b0ng stands as a silent witness to the area’s rich past and bright future.
