Around 1950, a small community of Catholic families settled in the Bình An area, forming what we now know as Giáo xứ Dĩ An. Initially, Giáo xứ Dĩ An lacked a dedicated church building. Services were held in a parishioner’s home. As the congregation grew, the need for a proper space for worship became evident. A temporary church was erected to serve the growing community. In 1960, the existing structure underwent renovations. Two years later, construction began on a new church building. By 1968, Giáo xứ Dĩ An proudly unveiled its completed church, measuring 11 meters by 30 meters. Years later, in 2012, Giáo xứ Dĩ An embarked on a project to build the new church you see before you today.
