From its humble beginnings in 1976 GH Healing Hands Ministry has touched countless lives. It all started with a miraculous healing of Dick McNees’ back. This led Dick and Lena McNees to pray for others. They gained experience praying for people in hospitals. In 1998 they formally established GH Healing Hands Ministry. They even started a school of healing. Many learned to effectively pray for the sick. The ministry published a newsletter in 2001 and launched a website in 2002. In 2005 GH Healing Hands Ministry became a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
The ministry’s work expanded significantly. They ministered in numerous churches across Michigan and Indiana. They received a warm welcome from various denominations. The Holy Spirit guided their messages tailoring them to each congregation. They served as evangelists prophets and apostles depending on the church’s needs. GH Healing Hands Ministry also conducted Worldwide Days of Healing. These events brought together healing team members they trained. They saw remarkable healings and miracles. People with pain left pain-free. Short limbs grew longer before their very eyes.
GH Healing Hands Ministry also held healing clinics. These were similarly successful. They were held on Saturdays allowing anyone to receive prayer. The atmosphere was filled with expectancy and worship. Jesus showed up as savior healer and deliverer. Many lives were transformed forever. One particularly memorable case involved Lena McNees’ niece. The niece suffered a seizure and was in critical condition. Doctors offered little hope. Lena and Dick prayed fervently. They visited her in the hospital. They whispered healing prayers over her. Miraculously the niece recovered within a week. She went home fully healed. This was a testament to the power of faith and prayer.
GH Healing Hands Ministry continues its mission. They actively minister to those in hospitals. They continue to see God’s healing power in action.
