Pastor Wagahoff’s journey is intertwined with the church’s. He started teaching Sunday School in 1999. He became song leader in 2000. He was even the associate pastor for many years. In December 2022 he became the full-time pastor. He’s a man of many talents. He’s also worked in finance. He’s served as youth pastor Sunday School teacher church treasurer and even church pianist. He holds a Degree of Advanced Biblical Studies and a Certificate of Biblical Counseling. His wife Amy serves as the church pianist. Their dedication is evident in the vibrant congregation.
Blessed Hope isn’t just about the Wagahoffs. Associate and Youth Pastor Ty Irwin has served since 2013. His wife Rachel is another talented pianist. They have five children. Their family’s commitment reflects the church’s family-oriented spirit. Dr James Wagahoff served as interim pastor and then pastor from 1986 to 2020. He even holds a doctorate from Blessed Hope Baptist College. His wife Diane teaches the Ladies Sunday School. Their large family is a testament to their faith and commitment. The church itself is a testament to faith and community.
The church’s commitment extends beyond its walls. Pastor Jon participates in Project Third Day Panhandle. He also serves on the Raymond Park Board. This commitment to community service shows the church’s dedication. It shows a deep care for its neighbors.
