It all started in the 1970s when a group of believers in the Alamo City, led by Pastor Daniel Villarreal, decided to start a church to bring people together and share God’s message.” He paused, allowing the group to take in the church’s simple yet beautiful architecture. “This isn’t your typical mega-church,” he continued, “It emphasizes a more intimate and welcoming atmosphere. The church has grown, evolved, and thrived throughout all these years because of the heart and dedication of the people behind it.” “Their vision is to impact and renew San Antonio and beyond. They do so by offering a range of ministries that are unique and heartwarming.” He pointed towards a sign that listed various outreach programs, “They have ministries for children, youth, and adults. They also have ministries focused on helping the homeless, providing substance abuse recovery support, and even a program to help people find jobs.
