“School in the Green,” they called it. The Schule Fahrenkrön. Imagine this school arose in 1960. It was designed as a haven for young minds.

The Schule Fahrenkrön sits in Hamburg-Bramfeld. It offers a large, nature-oriented outdoor area. Approximately 460 children attend this school. It is a four-track to five-track school. Modern rooms are available for the children in the afternoon.

Later expansions followed. A administration building was added in 1966. The specialist wing was built in 1969. The gymnasium called “Seitzhalle” was completed in 1970.

The administration wing got renovated in 2014. Schule Fahrenkröön is usually three-track. Plans exist to expand it to four-track.

The Schule Fahrenkröön not only focuses on academics. It provides reliable care from Monday to Friday. Holiday care completes the offerings. The dedicated staff includes teachers and special education teachers. Social workers, educators, and honorary staff also work here. The school secretary and caretaker couple are essential too.
