It’s a unique blend of reptile sanctuary and botanical garden. Opened in May 2015, this four-hectare park is home to a massive population of Nile crocodiles. These aren’t your average zoo inhabitants. The crocodiles at CrocoParc were brought from Djerba, Tunisia. The similar climate made their transition smoother. The park simulates their natural environment with three interconnected pools. Water cascades down from one pool to another, mimicking a small river system. CrocoParc also boasts diverse flora. Five thematic gardens – blue, exotic, aquatic, tropical, and cactus – showcase plants from around the globe. Fragrant jasmine and gardenias mingle with the aroma of damp earth, creating a sensory experience unlike any other. CrocoParc offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of these ancient reptiles and the lush landscapes they inhabit.
