Did the Yad Moriah School always have a basketball court? Probably not. The Jerusalem Foundation supported renovations to an outdoor sports court for the Yad Moriah School in 1984. The court was designed for basketball, soccer, and volleyball. This elementary school serves children in Ramat Eshkol. Interestingly, due to declining enrollment, the Yad Moriah School has shared its facilities with the Eddie Shore Kindergarten in more recent years. This sharing arrangement shows how the community adapts to changing needs while continuing to serve its children.
