The church essentially has two main entrances. One is symbolic and formal. The other is practical. Most of the congregation uses the practical entrance. It is closer to the parking area.

Inside Alamo Heights United Methodist Church, the furnishings are special. The architects designed everything. They used a minimum number of materials. Cherry wood, green marble, and wrought iron are prominent. The 130-rank organ is a masterpiece. Charles Nazarene designed its facade. A balcony sits above the narthex. It seats 75 people. The sanctuary is topped by an oculus. Natural light streams in from windows in the steeple above.

Alamo Heights United Methodist Church offers various worship times. Traditional services are held on Sundays at 8:30 am and 11:00 am. A contemporary service takes place on Sundays at 9:30 am. You can also watch online worship services.
