It’s nestled outside the bustling heart of Tây An in Vietnam’s Tiềm Tây province. This temple is old. It dates back almost 1,500 years to the early years of the Tuỳ Dynasty. Imagine, a place that has seen centuries of history unfold. Chùa Thanh Long isn’t just any temple. It holds a special designation. It’s considered a 3A scenic spot in Tây An. Since 2011, it has opened its doors to everyone, locals and travelers alike, seeking peace or perhaps a closer connection with their spiritual side. The temple grounds stretch across 120 square meters, an oasis of serenity. The architecture whispers of a simpler time. Chùa Thanh Long is designed to evoke a sense of peace and tranquility. Notice how the complex unfolds in three sections. You have the front yard, the middle yard, and the west yard. The middle yard serves as the main hall, the spiritual heart of the temple. In the east yard, you’ll discover the Huiguo Kukai Memorial Hall. And look to the west yard. You’ll find two towering pagodas flanking a grand hall, its roof supported by nineteen sturdy pillars.
