Founded in the early Meiji era, \u9580\u771f\u5e02\u7acb\u53e4\u5ddd\u6a4b\u5c0f\u5b66\u6821 has seen many changes. The area around the school became more residential. This led to an increase in students. To accommodate everyone, four elementary schools split off from this one since 1960.
In June 1872, it was established as the temporary Kyugoku Gakkou. It was also known as the ninth district village school. A year later, it changed its name to the 72nd Elementary School. In 1878, it became Kadoma Public Elementary School. By 1887, it was named Kadoma Jinjo Elementary School.
October 19, 1889, marked a special day. The school building was rebuilt and relocated. This day is now celebrated as the school’s founding anniversary.
The school’s name evolved over time. In 1896, it became Kitakawachi Kadoma Jinjo Elementary School. In 1910, a higher elementary school division was added. It then became Kitakawachi Kadoma Jinjo Higher Elementary School.
Tragedy struck on September 21, 1934. A typhoon caused the wooden school building to collapse. Sadly, more than six children died and over 39 were injured.
In 1941, under the national school ordinance, it was renamed Kitakawachi Kadoma National School. After the school system reform in 1947, it became Kadoma Town Elementary School.
Kadoma became a town with multiple elementary schools. This led to another name change. In 1956, it became Kadoma Town Kadoma Elementary School.
In April 1962, Kadoma Town Kita Elementary School was separated. Later, it integrated into Kadoma City Mirai Elementary School. In August 1963, Kadoma became a city. The school was renamed Kadoma City Kadoma Elementary School.
More schools were separated over the years. Kadoma City Chuo Elementary School was separated in 1967. Kadoma City Hamacho Elementary School was separated in 1970. Kadoma City Hayami Elementary School was separated in 1971.
