Tenochca’s legacy echoes. This isn’t just a dorm. It’s a tribute to Tenoch a leader of the Aztec people. He guided his people to the valley where Mexico City now stands. Tenochca Residence Hall at San Diego State University honors this history. It’s a traditional-style residence hall for first-year students. The building is co-ed with single-gender rooms and communal bathrooms. There are 184 units each a triple-occupancy room.

Imagine life inside Tenochca. Students share a community kitchen and living area. There’s an observation deck for stunning views. On-site laundry and recreational facilities add convenience. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi are standard amenities. Students even have access to a meal plan and 24/7 emergency maintenance. It is fully furnished with twin XL beds. A microwave and mini-fridge are in every room. Live-in faculty and staff are also available for support. The hall even provides housing over breaks.

Though the rooms are triple occupancy they are designed to be spacious. The university provides floor plans for reference. However room setup can vary by unit. The address is 6126 Montezuma Road San Diego California. Remember this is for location purposes only. Do not send mail or packages to this address. Instead you’ll need to visit the Mail and Packages section of the SDSU Housing website.

Tenochca isn’t just bricks and mortar. It’s a community. It’s a place where friendships are forged and memories are made. A place that connects students to a rich history and provides the comforts of modern living. It’s more than a dorm it’s a home away from home for San Diego State University’s first-year students.
