It’s a classroom. It’s a place dedicated to providing lifelong care for over 100 rescued animals.

Founded to educate the public about life sciences conservation and our environment the Wildlife Learning and Conservation Center provides a home for displaced rescued and zoo-born animals. These animals represent about 50 different species. They all live in this shady natural environment. Imagine sloths bobcats and kinkajous. Think eagles macaws and owls. Even snakes and skinks find a home here.

But that’s not all. The Wildlife Learning and Conservation Center offers something truly special. Once a month on Saturdays you can join a two-hour photo safari. For $55 you get an up-close and personal look at about 10 animals. A WLC biologist will be there to guide you. This means unobstructed photography opportunities. The class size is limited so book early.

Beyond the regular visits the Wildlife Learning and Conservation Center offers private tours. They also host special events like Sunset Safaris and family picnics. This incredible place has been educating the community for over 20 years. It has even supplied animals for Hollywood productions. The animals here each have a unique story. They are rescued animals or former zoo inhabitants.

The Wildlife Learning and Conservation Center is open seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm. General admission is affordable for the whole family.
