Its mission is simple yet powerful: to enrich the community through the arts. The Center for the Arts Eagle Rock was specifically established to boost the economic, social, and creative energy of the area. It has truly become a vital hub, a dynamic center for multidisciplinary arts. Think everything from visual arts to performing arts. CFAER also has a strong commitment to serving the diverse communities of Northeast Los Angeles. It focuses particularly on engaging low-income residents, underserved youth, and the area’s working artists. Housed in this beautiful historic Carnegie library building, the Center for the Arts Eagle Rock offers a wide range of programs. It presents over 400 arts programs every year. These programs include concerts, readings, film screenings, and community artist collaborations. They present yearly art auctions featuring emerging and mid-career artists.
