King David Linksfield School

From a simple seed planted in 1948, King David Linksfield School has blossomed into a remarkable institution. King David Linksfield began as South Africa’s first Jewish day school. The high school followed in 1955. Many of the original buildings still grace the campus today, whispering stories of generations past. King David Linksfield isn’t just one school. It’s part of a larger network of King David Schools across Johannesburg. This includes campuses in Victory Park, Sandton, and more. Together, under the South African Board of Jewish Education, they form the largest Jewish day school network in southern Africa. Currently, King David Linksfield High School boasts a student body of around 3300 pupils. The school prides itself on providing a well-rounded education, blending academics, sports, and cultural pursuits. Academically, King David Linksfield consistently ranks among the top Independent Examination Board (IEB) schools in South Africa. In 2014, the Matric pass rate reached a perfect 100%.
