The Tiger Statue Sculptures are a major attraction at Comerica Park. They’re incredibly large. In fact they are likely the largest tiger sculptures in the Western Hemisphere. Nine of these magnificent creatures stand guard. Some are 12 feet tall to the shoulder. The biggest one is a whopping 15 feet tall. The longest ones stretch over 33 feet long.
Sculptor Michael Keropian created these amazing works of art. He used four different tiger models. Each model shows a tiger in a different pose. One is sitting back. Another is standing on all fours both growling. A third is prowling and roaring. The fourth is upright. Its left paw is raised ready to strike.
