It turns out, on the 31st of October 1920, a grand unveiling did occur, complete with regal music and heartfelt speeches about Southern Jutland. The Genforeningssten Stone was officially handed over to Roskilde’s mayor. The Genforeningssten Stone was never meant to fade into obscurity.
